I tried something new with my embossing folder this month! Full details will be in upcoming video. I started with my wax seal so that I can match my background to the seal. This wax seal is perfect for this embossing folder as it is a part of the monthly subscription from Spellbinders.

Next, I looked through my inks and found 3 colors that could work with this beautiful wax color. I used 3 Catherine Pooler inks to create the background color (see supply list).

Next, I created a gold frame with the Spellbinders label and tags die. Love this shape so much! I also cut out a piece of vellum with this die but didn’t like the white vellum taking away from my design. So, for the 1st time – I tried ink blending on my vellum! I can’t believe how it turned out. You must see the video for all the details (coming soon).

After ink blending, I added some golden rose paper glaze to add the gold details. Last, I added a ribbon with a wax seal. I love all the textures on this card. What do you think? What colors do you think would work for this card?
