The new embossing powder duo set, “A Night on the Town,” features two beautifully coordinated powders that effortlessly combine to produce eye-catching results. Whether youโ€™re a seasoned crafter or new to embossing, this set promises to add a touch of magic to your creations. Check out these three techniques using the new set on this card. For all the details, be sure to watch the YouTube tutorial (and enter in the video hop).

To begin the card, I die-cut white paper for the flowers and stems. Then, I applied the new embossing powder to the largest die-cut pieces of each flower. I used this color as a reference for my ink blending. The second layer of the flower was slightly darker, with the final piece being the darkest.

Next, I used an embossing folder to create a raised pattern. I traced the raised areas with the Wow Embossing Pen, sprinkled on embossing powder, and then heat set it.

Next, I applied double-sided adhesive to the front of the word “hugs” and created an ombre effect by using both of the new duo embossing powders. This technique blended the two colors seamlessly, adding a stunning gradient finish to the sentiment.

Keep hopping along to the other design team members for more chances to win!
