How to Use Swish’ N Pop Die for Teacher Cards
Today, I will go over how to make this card, but for all the details check the YouTube video.
I started by ink blending the backgrounds of these cards in this gorgeous trio of distress oxides – salty ocean, peacock feathers and salvaged patina. Next, I stamped and colored all the images in the scene. The copic marker colors used are in the links below. For the sand, I used a stencil to trace the outline of the beach and fussy cut this. The ink blending was done with antique linen and splatters of brushed corduroy.
To use this interactive element, you need acetate, 2 brads, heavy weight card stock, foam tape and a die-cutting machine. After this was assembled, it was time to put the cards together.
The inside of this card says “Thank you, teacher!” I needed 3 cards so I used this die on different sizes and layouts. Next, was the card with all of the sentiment on the front.
I heat embossed the sentiment onto the clouds of this card. The last card has part of the sentiment on the front and part on the inside of the card.
The inside of the card reads “You’ve earned it!”
