3 Must-Know Tips for Masculine Valentine’s Cards (No More Struggle!)
Let’s be honest—making masculine Valentine’s cards is HARD. If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to create something that’s love-themed but not covered in hearts, glitter, and pink… you are NOT alone!
But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be a struggle! 🙌
I just dropped a brand-new YouTube video where I’m sharing 3 game-changing tips for making masculine cards with confidence—especially for Valentine’s Day.
And today, I’m breaking down the cards I made using these tips, so you can create stunning, guy-approved designs using supplies you probably already own! 🎉
CArd #1: Easy DIY Masculine Card
When designing masculine cards, finding the right focal point is everything. Instead of relying on traditional Valentine’s themes, using a playing card as your main element creates a bold, unique, and stylish design that’s perfect for the occasion. Pair this with a bold sentiment and couple of embellishments and that’s all you need.
Card #2 Bold Background
I love a black background when I am trying to make a masculine card. You will see that in the next 2 cards. What makes this one special is the bold look with the Aces embossing folder. Amazing texture and contrast between the simple coloring and bold red ribbon.
Card # 3 Bold Focal Point with Dies
This is my favorite of the 3 cards because I love adding lots of details with lovely layers dies from Honey Bee. These dies are very intricate and create amazing, bold cards. On this card, I even added small amounts of glitter on the letters which is usually a no-go for my masculine cards.
