3 Must-See Cards Featuring Simon Says Stamp’s “To Be Loved” Release!

Are you ready for some crafty inspiration? 🎉 Simon Says Stamp just launched their “To Be Loved” release, and it’s packed with goodies perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond! I had so much fun playing with these products and have created three cards that you’ll love. Plus, there’s a blog hop with gift card giveaways and an exclusive free gift with purchase code — so stick around for all the details!

1. Funky Hearts Stencil: A 2-for-1 Design

The Funky Hearts stencil is a must-have for card makers, and I couldn’t resist creating a fun 2-for-1 design!

  • Card 1: A bright and cheerful shaker card featuring Funky Hearts Stencil, Hot Tamale Sequin Mix &. Lined Love You with Matte Gold Cardstock

Card 2: Using the leftover scraps, I created a complementary card that’s just as beautiful! It’s a great way to stretch your supplies and get double the joy from one stencil.

2. Sketched Clover Stamp Set: Heat Embossing Magic

For my third card, I brought out the Sketched Clover stamp set and paired it with some heat embossing magic. The intricate details of the clovers look stunning embossed in gold and paired with a soft, ink-blended background. This card is perfect for sending a little luck to someone special. 🍀

To really bring these cards to life, I have a YouTube video today, where I show the step-by-step process for each design. You’ll pick up tips on shaker cards, maximizing your supplies, and getting the perfect heat embossing results.

  3. Great cards! The two-for-one Valentine cards are terrific, love the backgrounds and how you used left overs to make the 2nd card. Love the simplicity of the shamrock card. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Great cards! The card with the clover is my favorite but I also really like your 2-for-1 stencil cards. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Wow! First time I saw a designer use the funky hearts stencil…so much fun and wonderful to get a two-fer. And I love your clean & simple cards using the shamrock set.

  6. Nicki, I absolutely love the bright colors and the work with beautiful metallic gold…and the dimensions and depth that it all adds is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

  7. My favorite card of the three is the second one. It has a layout that is so different. But the other cards are great too.

  8. Thank you for the inspiration Nicki❣️ absolutely love how you presented the Funky Hearts Stencil. This is definitely one of my favorites 💕

  9. All of your cards were gorgeous but I really love your first card the best! I love a good shaker and that Love You sentiment with the circles crossing is so cute. I also love the colors you used. My second favorite was the one in your video with the Dotted Hearts embossing folder and the vellum and glitter card hearts. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

  10. Thank you Nicki❣️ I absolutely love how you presented the Funky Hearts Stencil. This is definitely one of my favorites 💕

    1. Thank you so much. Lots of tips and tricks on this in the video if you get time to check it out. Have a great weekend!

  11. Nicki, I loved your cards. Your tutorial was super helpful. I can’t wait to try your techniques, shaker card & scraps, especially! Thank you.

  12. The Love You card is a WOW. The bright pink did not over take the pretty gold message but sure draws attention to the card. Great idea. I love working with scraps and you did a nice job creating out of leftovers. Finally, the embossed 4-leaf clover is a beautiful way to send valentine cards to friends!
