There’s nothing like a fresh Altenew release to jumpstart your creativity—and this June 2025 release is packed with everything I love: stunning stencils, dreamy press plates, dimensional embossing folders, and dies that make every design pop! 🙌

I had the best time playing with these new goodies and pulled together several cards to show you just how versatile this release is. Whether you’re all about that texture or looking to try a new coloring technique, there’s something here for everyone.

🌼Card #1 Build a Garden Radiant Blossoms:

This card uses stamping, stencils and the new sequin collection from Altenew. I just love all the little details including the shadow stamped background!

🌸 Card #2 & 3 – Magical Peony Elegance

I paired the new Magical Peony Press Plate and Stencil Set to create this soft, elegant floral cards. The detail in the press plate is absolutely stunning, and the layered stencil makes it so easy to bring those blooms to life with color. I used heat embossing plus a press plate to create this card.

The second Magical Peony card uses a tone on tone outline and stencil with some gold acrylic marker accents.

Card #3 Embossing Folder + Relief Paste

I started with a piece of specialty paper and ran it through the Batik Blooms 3D embossing folder—the texture it creates is just chef’s kiss! Then I brought in the shine with Mayan Gold Shimmer Relief Paste, brushing it over the raised design for a luxe golden finish. I even used it to build a coordinating frame! To finish things off, I added layered stenciled leaves and sentiment die cuts for that perfect polished touch.
