Spring cards are always a favorite, especially when I can combine stamping, ink blending, and beautiful specialty papers. For today’s card, I’m sharing a textured spring design featuring the Gina K Designs Hoppily Yours stamp set along with two specialty papers from Your Paper Insider box 14.

Why this card works

This design keeps things simple while still feeling special. Clean stamping sets the foundation, soft ink blending adds depth, and the specialty papers bring in instant texture without making the card feel busy.

The Hoppily Yours stamp set is perfect for Valentines, spring and Easter cards, but it’s easy to adapt for other occasions as well.

Technique highlights

The card starts with stamping the focal image, followed by light ink blending to build color and interest. Two different specialty papers from Your Paper Insider box 14 add contrast and texture, making the design feel layered and finished with very little effort.

If you’ve ever felt unsure about using specialty paper, this is a great example of letting the paper shine while keeping the rest of the design clean.
