Card #1: Embossing with Dimension and Sparkle

For the first card, I started by embossing a plain white cardstock using a 3D embossing folder. After getting that gorgeous raised design, I swiped Wow! embossing ink across the raised areas. This allows the embossing powder to stick to just the elevated parts, creating extra dimension and texture. I sprinkled Primary Blue Tang and Primary Blue Topaz embossing powders for a beautiful dual-tone effect, and once heated, it transformed into a vibrant, glossy masterpiece.

Next up, I grabbed my trusty mixed media brush tool from WOW! Embossing to add some extra detail to specific areas of the card. I carefully brushed over sections of the already embossed panel, then sprinkled on Polished Silver embossing powder for that extra shine. This technique is called Double Embossing, and it adds a whole new layer of dimension and texture to your project. The results are stunning! ✨

Card #2: Embossing Directly on the Folder

For the second card, I took things up a notch! I prepped my paper with antistatic powder and applied embossing ink directly onto the raised portion of the embossing folder. After running the folder through the die-cutting machine, I poured on the embossing powder and heated it up. The result? A perfectly embossed image with added color and dimension, thanks to the vibrant powders!

These two simple techniques with 3D embossing folders and embossing powders will definitely level up your card designs. 🌈 Be sure to watch the video for all the details and tips on how to recreate these cards!
