Easy Metallic Accents with a Paint Pen + NEW Spellbinders
The March release from Spellbinders includes an amazing embossing folder and wax seal. I wanted to create a coordinated card with lots of metallic accents. So, I tried using my paint pen! Check out the results and card making ideas on these 2 cards.
For these cards, I was using a paint pen in gold and silver to highlight the writing on the wax seal and thought, why not add this as an accent? So, I used the gold pen to create extra details on the flower pot, butterflies and flowers. What do you think?
For my next card, I used a monochromatic color scheme. I added a sentiment to the wax seal to create a card “from all of us.” The background uses an embossing folder with ink blending. All products used will be listed in the picture supply list.
Next, I used a monochromatic color scheme. I added a sentiment to the wax seal to create a card “from all of us.” The silver accents on this card are from the silver paint pen used on the wax! First, I added silver to the frame then to centers of the flowers with the paint pen. The background uses an embossing folder with ink blending.
One more shows the wax seal, up close. I love the coordinating wax beads and ink blending for this card.
Which is you favorite? Monochromatic blue floral or the bright white with plants?
