Sweet Pastels & Dimensional Texture – Simon Says Stamp “You Are My Favorite” Blog Hop 💖

I’m so excited to be part of the Simon Says Stamp “You Are My Favorite” Blog Hop today! This release is packed with fresh, fun products—but I was especially drawn to the Bubble Flower and Leaves die set. It’s soft, playful, and perfect for spring.

For my card, I paired those bubbly floral shapes with a bold geometric 3D embossing folder called “Hopping Hexagons.” I love how the soft, round flower contrasts with all those sharp angles—it gives the card such a fun, modern feel. ✨ If you love embossing folders as much as I do, make sure to check my YouTube channel for tons of inspiration!

I went with a pastel color palette (because who doesn’t love a soft spring moment?) and used inlaid die cutting to tuck those floral pieces right into the card base. That technique keeps things clean and dimensional without adding bulk—perfect for mailing! 💌

To finish it off, I added a sweet “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment from “Love You a Bunch” stamp set. It’s a gentle and heartfelt card that’s ready to make someone’s day a little brighter.

  5. I too love that Hopping Hexagons embossing folder! I didn’t realize until I read the entire post that you inlaid the flower into the base…what an excellent idea I need to try with folders and dies I have!!

  6. Lovely card !! I love the way you inlayed the flowers in your embossed card front. I love embossing folders & the detail they give. Sadly when I placed my order for this new release I failed to add that embossing folder, your card showed me that I “need it” hello wish list.
