Masculine Cards with STAMPtember Release from Simon Says Stamp

I created 3 projects using new products from the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Release. First, I created 2 masculine cards. Make sure to catch the video for all the details!

One of my favorite ways to use a background stamp is to heat emboss it in clear on a dark background. This wonky trapezoid works great for masculine cards. I watercolored, in masculine colors, the images in the “Big Bold Birthday” set to add extra excitement to this card.

For the next masculine card, I showed another way to use the background stamp. I watercolored the stamp with orange and navy to create an exciting background. The left overs from the 1st card were used to coordinate these 2 masculine cards.

For the last card, I kept the same color scheme for a fun flowery card. This embossing folder gies lots of dimension. I ink-blended the flowers and leaves adding some extra details with copic markers.

  1. All three cards are amazing. The two “masculine” cards are brilliant – excellent use of the Wonky Trapezoid stamp. The hibiscus card is stunning.

  2. Those are very nice cards. I think we make ourselves crazy thinking of ‘masculine’ cards. Do the same thing in different inks and it’s just fine.

  4. The birthday card is really cute, but I have to say the hibiscus “Thinking of You” card is my favorite. Love the coloring, love the bold sentiment die cut.
