Spook Up Your Halloween Cards with Embossing Folders & Powder! šŸŽƒāœØ

Hi, crafty friends! Today, I am so excited to share two fun and spooky Halloween cards featuring 3D embossing folders and embossing powders. If you love adding extra dimension and shine to your cards, you’re going to love these techniques! āœØ

Card #1: Bright & Spooky Webs

For this first card, I wanted a bold focal point, so I created a bright ink-blended background with green, teal, and blue inks. Once the colors were looking spooky and vibrant, I placed the panel into a 3D embossing folder and ran it through my die-cutting machine. This is where the magic happens!

Next, I used my WOW! Embossing Pen to trace the spider web pattern that was pressed into the cardstock. After that, I sprinkled some Polished Silver embossing powder over the ink and heated it up. The result? A stunning silver spiderweb that looks absolutely amazing against the vibrant background. To finish it off, I added a few glittery spiders and a cute “Happy Halloween” sentiment.

Card #2: Glittery Black Webs

For the second card, I wanted a darker, moodier look, so I ink-blended another panel with rich colors. But before embossing, I made sure to dust the entire panel with antistatic powder (a must when working with embossing powders!).

Here’s the trick: I applied WOW! Embossing Ink directly to the raised areas of the 3D embossing folder before running the panel through my die-cut machine. After embossing, I added Black Glint embossing powder, which gives the perfect black-and-silver glittery finishā€”ideal for a spooky Halloween web!

The shine and dimension these embossing powders add are just next-level! If you want to see all the details in action, head over to my YouTube video where I walk you through every step. šŸŽ„šŸ‘»
