Spellbinders New Holiday Card Release

I decided to try out my new pastel glimmer foil for this new release of Bibi Cameron’s Snowflake line for Spellbinders Holiday Release. What are your favorite colors to use on snowflake cards? I love the classic blues but have tried pastel and purple/teal combos that I love.

This monochromatic card is so fun. I ink blended lightly over the blooming mandala embossing folder then added a foiled snowflake and glitter snowflake with the foiled sentiment. Last, I added 2 die-cut tiny foiled snowflakes. All products will be listed below for your reference.

On the second card, I played with adding mixed media to the flower petals of a foiled snowflake. I added paper glaze to the pink flower petals and to the splatter on the background to create amazing glitter effects that are difficult to show on camera.

Do you ever make a ton of die cuts and aren’t quite sure how you are going to use them? I got overjoyed at making these glimmer foil snowflakes and didn’t want to waste any of them. So, why not put them all on one card?! I added the glimmer sentiment from this set to the top with a few pearls.
