Do you love embossing folders? They are rapidly becoming a favorite of mine. I made 5 different cards using 1 embossing folder and some fun new dies from Sizzix Tim Holtz collection. Make sure to watch the YouTube video for all the details.

I used gray card stock and white pigment ink for the first card to create a fantastic background. The candles in this release are so detailed that I only had to add a little ink blending. The “Joy” is die-cut from white velvet card stock.

I love how the second card turned out. I heat embossed a beautiful silver into the impression of the embossing folder creating a subtle shine. Next, I created matching silver elements by heat embossing a plain sheet of paper and die cutting the elements from it.

I love creating bold backgrounds! Navy and gold are always a great combination. This tall candle from the new die set, really makes a statement.

Last, but definitely one of my favorites is this card. I used a combination of white pigment ink and perfect pearls to create a shimmery effect.
