NEW Ideas for Embossing Folders!
Today, I created 2 cards using the same embossing folder. Let’s explore these new ways to use your embossing folders. Make sure to watch the video for all the details!
For the 1st card, I wanted to create a masculine look so I went with blues and greens. I started by using the embossing folder on white bristol smooth paper. Next, I quickly colored all the balloons with copic markers. (This doesn’t have to be neat!)

Next, I used a mixed media brush with embossing ink over the coloring and added coordinating embossing powder. Last, I ink blended over the panel and added a sentiment. I love that you can see the coloring through the embossing, giving the balloons some dimension.

For the next card, I started with an ink blended panel then ran it through with an embossing folder. Then, I used an embossing pen to color the balloons. Last, I added coordinating embossing powders to the balloons. This was a much quicker card than the masculine one.

I used the 3rd embossing powder in the trio to create the sentiment for this on. Don’ t you think it has a Bridgerton vibe??

For the whole process and even more tips, make sure to watch the YouTube video! Let me know which card is your favorite! 💜 or 💙

Oh my goodness, what wonderful masculine cards. I’ve not seen you or your cards before and was truely happy that you happened to be in the blog hop. I absolutely love all the cards but I especially loved the one you’ve done a EP background on. Brilliant idea. Thank you so much for the inspiration. X X
