Ink Blending a Rainbow

lawn fawn, ink blending, ink blend rainbow, card making, papercrafting, cardmaking, Nicki Hearts Cards

Today we are going to do some ink blending to make this beautiful background. I will cover the entire card making process in the video and an abbreviated version on the blog.

I often struggle with using colored embellishments so we will also include how I used these to compliment the ink blending.

First, start with good paper like Bristol Smooth. Next, get out your distress oxide inks in rainbow colors – Festive Berries

Spiced Marmalade

Mustard Seed

Mowed Lawn

Prize Ribbon

Wilted Violet

You will need some type of blending brush or foam. I really like to use brushes, but it is personal preference. After I used an embossing die on the background, I wanted to add my colored embellishments in a sunburst pattern, like my s’more was radiating love. Ā For the rest details on the s’more and more detail about this card, make sure to watch the video. All the supplies used are listed below and clicking on them before shopping does make me do a happy dance!
