Handmade Birthday Cards for Boys // 2 for 1
I will show you how to use one background and die-cutting to create 2 birthday cards for boys.
First, I will create the background that we will die-cut to make our cards. I used Pinkfresh Studio’s slimline stripes die to cut out blue and green cardstock from The Stamp Market. To line up the stripes, I used my MISTI stamping tool, MISTI corners and a sticky Sizzix mat.
Second, take this panel and die cut it with MFT Stamps “big birthday wishes” die. Save all pieces and if some of the pieces come off, glue in the correct order.
Third – start assembling a shaker card from the cut out with coordinating paper and sequins which finishes our first card. The second card comes together even faster. I sent a coordinating cardstock thru the die cut machine with the Altenew 3D embossing folder and attached the letters with small white highlights from my Gelly roll pin.
