Easy Watercolor with Honey Bee Stamps Big Pickup

honey bee stamps - big tailgate - best wishes - watercolor - Nicki hearts cards

Today, I’m going to show some easy watercolor. I created a YouTube video for this post as well. To get started, I used Arches watercolor paper and stamped with Lawn Fawn jellyfish ink. The stamp set is Honey Bee “Big Pickup” and “Loads of Love.”

For the body of the truck, I used the Karin Brushmarker Pro marker in Turquoise and placed this on my glass mat. With Altenew watercolor brushes, I picked up small amounts of the color and worked section by section. Make sure to let one section dry before coloring directly next to it for the best results. After the body of the truck, I used Altenew’s metallic watercolors on the bumper, handles and mirrors. The tires and undercarriage of the car were in different saturations of the black Karin Brushmarker Pro.

To color the flowers, I used Karin Brushmarker Pro in Cerise and Grass with some Altenew watercolor pencils for the darker details. After all parts of the watercolor were dry, I used their coordinating dies to cut the truck, flowers and a card base in the shape of the truck.

I embossed the “best wishes to you” with Ranger white embossing powder and the “just married” with Altenew’s platinum embossing powder. Using Gina K Connect glue, I adhered all the parts together and onto the card base.
