DIY Card Ornament #1
For the 1st card, I used a pink and light green theme. First, I die cut the Love to Layer Stitched Circle twice on white bristol smooth cardstock. Next, I ink blended these circles in a light green to resemble a Christmas wreath. I added the Reflections Bible Verse stamp to the center of the die cut in versafine nocturne ink. Last, I added some pink stitching to the edges of the circle for extra detail.
You will see the other side of the ornament in the livestream š I used the other die cut circle sandwiched with double sided adhesive foam to create the ornament. I kept the background relative simple with pink ink blending and some heat embossed stripes from the North Pole set.
DIY Ornament Card #2
For the second card, I kept the color scheme traditional Christmas colors. I started with die cutting 2 of the Reflections September Die in cherry red cardstock.
I added Santa’s belt in black ink across the die, then added clear embossing to give a glossy effect. Last, I stamped the belt buckle in embossing ink and added gold embossing powder for some shine.
For the 2nd die cut, I added a cute Santa face from the North Pole stamp set and a sentiment in white heat embossing.
The background was kept simple with green cardstock, a small amount of black soot distress ink around the edges and some white splatter. I added a sentiment on the front of the card as well.
Come see me make these at 1:00pm EDT TODAY or watch the replay on my YouTube channel for all the details!
