AECP Project for Beautiful Details Class
Hello, everyone! I’m so glad to be back on the blog today with you. This card is the latest in my classes to become an Altenew Certified Educator. In this class, we focused on adding extra details to our images.
First, I started with some watercolor paper, 2 Altenew ink pads, the Altenew stamp set “Peony Bouquet” and my MISTI to make this beautiful background of images. I stamped the peony layers of the big flower with 2 layers of Mountain Mist ink. Next, I stamped the peony buds in Volcano Lake x 1 layer.
Now to start adding extra details! I added shading with my woodless watercolor pencils and a very fine watercolor brush. I added these details until I felt satisfied with the images.
Next, I found some coordinating card stock to use as the card front. I needed a sentiment and felt that gold would look amazing with these colors so I used a strip on the card front and coordinated the sentiment with the same gold card stock.
Last, I felt I needed more on the card front and decided to add some gold pearls to highlight the sentiment. I hope that you enjoyed this card. If you are interested in any of the products that I used, please click through the links below to help support my blog.
