Hi, friends! Have you tried stitching 🧵 on your cards? I found a great way to add stitching and other details to die cuts to really make your cards stand out! For all the details make sure to check out the video on YouTube!

I started with the stamp set “O Canada” from the Catherine Pooler new release. This features skates and hockey sticks which are perfect for me as both my kids play hockey! I also think this would be great for and outdoorsy card/scrapbook page!

First, I stamped my skates in midnight ink. Next, I added embossing ink with a pen to the skate blade. After heat embossing the blade, it was time to create some stitching to lace up these skates!

Check out the video for how to create the holes and stitching. I created the “ice rink” from loop die, ink blending and some masking.
