My Cards

I created a heartfelt card using Strong Oak Stencil and Die Set to honor the strength and love of the parental figures in our lives. This one will be part of the card drive, and I hope it brings a smile to someone who really needs it.

My second card features the same stencil and die set, but I added some dimension by creating a frame. I want the parents and seniors to know that we thank them for all they did to raise us and support the next generation.

💌 Card Drive Details

This blog hop supports Altenew’s annual Celebrating Parents Card Drive—an initiative to bring love and encouragement to parents and seniors who could use a little extra sunshine. Altenew collects handmade cards to be donated to local nursing homes and other organizations in time for Mother’s and Father’s Day.

So while you’re crafting something beautiful, know it could brighten someone’s day in a powerful way. ❤️

🥫 Support Seniors Through the Sentiment Stamps Collection

From March 7 to April 22, 2025, Altenew is also donating $1 for every order from their Sentiment Stamps collection to the Food Bank of Central New York.

Your card-making purchase = food on the table for a senior in need. How awesome is that?

So if you’ve been eyeing any sentiment stamp sets, now’s the perfect time to grab them and give back while you create.

📬 How to Participate

  1. Make a card for a parent, guardian, or senior
  2. Mail your card to Altenew for the Celebrating Parents Card Drive
