4 Tips for Die Cut Flowers!
Hi, everyone! Thanks so much for joining me today. For all the details on this card, you may want to visit the YouTube link as it is going to be the most detailed.
I used the “Mom Teapot” die set from I-crafter to create this card. After die cutting all the pieces from coordinating card stock, I wanted to add some extra details to make the card special. So, I grabbed my new Faber Castell Polychromos to add detail to the flowers and leaves on this card. After coloring the extra details with coordinating color pencils, I glued the flowers together and added gold pearls as the centers of the flowers.
The background of the card is ink blended with Spun Sugar. The sentiment for the card comes from 2 different sets – Pegboard Shelfie and the Mom Teapot.
4 Tips for Die Cut Flowers:
1. Use a Copic marker or colored pencil to color the edges if the paper has a white core
2. Add details to embossed areas created by the die
3. Add veining to flowers and leaves
4. Clean glue off any metallic parts
